Chloe Melnick is a sophomore majoring in Engineering Science.

“I am participating in the 2016 Wind Competition, because I want to apply what I learn in class to a complete engineering project. I also want to gain new knowledge and experiences. I knew participating on Penn State’s team would allow me this opportunity and would foster collaboration and creativity, two things that I think are very important to my future as an engineer. The obstacles that I know will arise also enticed me to participate because I love finding solutions to problems, especially when it is something as cool as a wind turbine.”
